Ayrshire Baby Loss Support - General Support
Our General Support Meetings are held monthly and rotate between North, South, and East Ayrshire.
These meetings are open to anyone affected by the loss of a baby at any stage, whether your loss is recent or many years ago.
The meetings are friendly and informal. You're welcome to share your story or simply listen, have a cuppa and a biscuit, everyone is made to feel welcome.
All our befrienders, who will be in attendance, have expericence baby loss themselves so are perfectly placed to understand what you are going through and how you may be feeling.
First-Time Attendees - If this is your first time attending, we encourage you to speak with a befriender at the start of the meeting. If possible, please contact us beforehand so we can make sure someone is there to greet you and offer support.
Even if you've attended before but feel uncertain about where to go or would like a little extra support on arrival, please don’t hesitate to get in touch ahead of time.
If we can be of help in any way, please do let us know.

'ABLS for Dads too' Meetings <>
Ayrshire Baby Loss Support – Men’s Space
We know that baby loss affects everyone, including dads, partners & other male roles. That’s why we have created a dedicated space for men to come together in support, understanding, and shared experience.
While we offer monthly support meetings open to all, we recognise that these are often attended mainly by women, with men sometimes joining only once or twice. We also understand that it can feel overwhelming when the room is mostly grieving mothers.
This Men’s Support Meeting is an opportunity for dads and other men who have experienced the loss of a baby to connect with others who truly understand. Whether your loss was recent or many years ago, you are welcome here.
There’s no pressure to talk. You’re welcome to simply sit with others over a coffee or tea, or event just have a game of darts. Sometimes, just hearing that someone else has felt what you’re feeling can bring comfort and strength.
Although this meeting is especially aimed at supporting men affected by baby loss, everyone is welcome—because sometimes, we all need a helping hand.
First-Time Attendees - If you're attending for the first time, we encourage you to have a chat with one of our befrienders at the beginning of the meeting. If possible, please get in touch with us beforehand so we can make sure someone is there to welcome and support you.
Even if you've been before but feel unsure about where to go or would appreciate support when arriving, please don’t hesitate to reach out in advance.

On-line Support Meetings ^^
Ayrshire Baby Loss Support – Virtual Support
We understand that the loss of a baby affects everyone differently, and no matter where you are in your grief, you don’t have to face it alone.
Our Virtual Support Meetings offer a safe, supportive space for anyone affected by the loss of a baby at any stage, this includes parents, grandparents, partners, siblings, and friends, and whether your loss is recent or long ago, you are very welcome.
These meetings are held online, making it easier to join from the comfort and privacy of your own home. They are friendly, informal, and pressure-free. Whether you feel like sharing your story or simply listening, you'll be met with kindness and understanding.
As these meetings are now held on requests, if you would like to attend one please let us know, so we can arrange a date and time that suits and send out the meeting link and details required.
Grief can feel isolating—but connection can bring comfort. You're not alone, and you're always welcome here.
Support Meeting Dates
Every month we share details of our upcoming meetings on our Facebook page, including the location and a walkthrough video to help you find the rooms easily.
