Thinking of doing a challenge or holding an event to fundraise for us, well first of all thank you x

We really appreciate all your efforts in helping us to help bereaved parents, families and professionals, and count ourselves very lucky to have people willing to help.

Please fill out the attached registration form, to let us know about you and your event, and if there is anything that you need from us too.

Which one to use?

There are many online fundraising platforms that can be used to help you raise money, and it is totally up to you which one you choose.
We are set up on the People's Fundraising website, where you can register and choose us as your cause.

Teri & Neill McPherson

Teri & her husband Neill are climbing Goatfell on Arran

In memory of their precious baby daughter, Claire, whose 30th birthday is on 20th August 2022 and fundraising for oursleves at ABLS, Teri says "We received amazing support from some of the ladies when we lost our precious baby daughter, Claire. 30 years ago.  We’d like to help others who find themselves in our position xx"

Denise Turley

Walking 10 Munroe's in her son Joseph's memory

Denise with some of her family are walking 10 Monroe's during July & August 2022, for Joseph's 10th birthday on the 24th August 2022.

Denise has a fundraising page, with funds raised being split between oursleves at ABLS and The Fire Service Family Trust

Joint Charity day bowling match - August 2022

Leanne, along with Tarbolton Bowling Club are hold a joint charity day bowling match along with a raffle and auction.  In memory of Leanne's much loved daughter, Hope, who was born on 20th August 2006

All funds raised will be spilt between ourselves at ABLS, and The Kris Boyd Charity who support mental health, find out more about them here

HMP Kilmarnock - June 2022

Josh, along with his HMP Kilmarnock colleagues, friends and family once again held a number of fundraising events during June 2022, donating all funds raised to ABLS.

Townhead Tots

The toddler group is based in Townhead Street, Stevenston

Held on alternate Fridays, the group has free admission. Parents are informed there is a donation box and if they wish to contribute in any way, this will be passed onto ABLS.  'Townhead Tots are delighted to be supporting ABLS, a cause close to their hearts.'

Ashley Love

Ran a half marathon - 16th October 2021

After suffering the loss of her baby girl six years previouly, Ashley said she received 'much needed support as we grieved the loss of our much anticipated and loved baby'

Ashley completed her half marathon in Aviemore and raised funds for ABLS


Gillian Patrick

Swim Challenge in memory of Cailie
stillborn 15th October 1997

Gillian, who is one of our committee members, took up a swimming challenge in the lead up to Cailie's 24th birthday, swimming 24 miles over 24 days finishing on her daughter's birthday on Friday 15th October 2021.

They all succeeded in their mission of raising awareness for Ayrshire Baby Loss Support and with raising a fantastic amount of money.


Nicola Pill

Courtney's Birthday Marathon - 2nd April 2021

Launched this year on Mother’s Day, Nicola, one of our committee members raised awareness and funds in memory of her beautiful daughter Courtney Magdalene Scott, born sleeping on the 2nd of April 1995.  Nicola completed a marathon (26.2 miles), each mile marking a birthday they have spent apart.
