Glasgow Kiltwalk April 2025
Once again the staff of ICU, University Hospital Crosshouse took on the Glasgow Kiltwalk's 'Mighty Stride' raising awareness and funds for ABLS.

In memory of Rachel Crawford
Caitlin chose to participate in the Glasgow Kiltwalk 2024 for the first time ever, after losing her baby daughter on 22nd April 2023.

Nathan's fundraiser
13th January 2024
Thowing a 5th birthday party in memory of their son, Nathan Marc Wilson. Samantha, Marc and family raised a fantastic amount with a raffle, Irish bingo and much more.

Charity Bowling March 2023
Leanne & Andy held their chairty bowling match along with a raffle and auction in memory of their daughter Hope. This has become an annual event and we are so gratefull to continue being picked

Martial Mayhem chairty boxing match - 22nd October 2022
Thanks go to Rodney who took part in the boxing match at the Citadel in Ayr. Rodney from the White Watch of the Glasgow Prestwick Airport Fire Service boxed with his colleague, Paul from the Blue Watch. Tarbolton Bowling Club
Joint Charity day bowling match - August 2022
Leanne Dunlop, along with Tarbolton Bowling Club held a joint charity day bowling match along with a raffle and auction, in memory of Leanne's much loved daughter, Hope, who was born on 20th August 2006. All funds raised were spilt between ourselves at ABLS, and The Kris Boyd Charity who support mental health.

Choosen cause for 2021/2022
The McKinstry Company proudly announced that they would be supporting us for 2021/22. They said 'This is a voluntary organisation that is close to the hearts of our team and something we are really looking forward to fundraise for. Our charity group has some very exciting events planned in order to fundraise for Ayrshire Baby Loss Support'.

Courtney's Birthday Marathon - 2nd April 2021
Launched this year on Mother’s Day, Nicola, one of our founding committee members raised awareness and funds in memory of her beautiful daughter Courtney Magdalene Scott, born sleeping on the 2nd of April 1995. Nicola completed a marathon (26.2 miles), each mile marking a birthday they have spent apart.

Ashley completed Glasgow Kilkwalk's 'Big Stroll' while raisiing funds for ABLS, Ashley said "We are raising funds for Ayrshire baby Loss so you can continue your amazing work"

Andrew walked the 22.6 miles in the 'Mighty Stride' on 28th April 2024 at the Glasgow Kiltwalk in memory of his daughter Erica.

Gordan and Kirsty McCartney were joined by friends Graham, Andrew, and Matthew, who all ran 5K while dressed in their Santa suits to raise money and awareness for loss and ABLS.
Townhead Tots
The toddler group is based in Townhead Street, Stevenston
Held on alternate Fridays, the group has free admission. Parents are informed that there is a donation box, and if they wish to contribute in any way, their donations will be passed on to ABLS. "Townhead Tots are delighted to support ABLS, a cause close to their hearts."
The Camping & Caravanning Club
Renfew & South West Scotland 2022
Choosing ABLS at their cause for this year and by holding book clubs, raffles and donations, the members of this club have raised a fab amount of money for us and we are so grateful for your support.

The Pizza Run in Glasgow
17th September 2022
This amazing group ran the 5k or 10k to raise money for ABLS. The runners were Karen Friels, Deborah Duffy, Nicola Dukes, Graham Ralston, Heather Rielly Raymond Gouck, Graeme Donaldson, Heather Kirkwood, Colin Hamill and Carol Brownlie. Thank you to everyone who took part.

Josh Raeburn, along with his HMP Kilmarnock colleagues, friends and family once again held a number of fundraising events during June 2022, donating all funds raised to ABLS. Our thanks go out to all who were involved.

As if they weren't wonderful enough, 10 staff members, Jay Greer, Brooke Mills, Sheree Cowan, Hollie Gardner, Rosemary McHale, Victoria Howat, Leeann Slater, Julie Marshall, Caroline Wedgeworth, and Lynne Cunningham from the ICU at UHC took part in the 'Mighty Stride' on 28th April 2024

Teri & her husband Neill climbed Goatfell on Arran
In memory of their precious baby daughter, Claire, whose 30th birthday was 20th August 2022, Teri & Neill fundraised for ourselves. Teri wrote 'We received amazing support from some of the ladies when we lost our precious baby daughter, Claire. 30 years ago. We’d like to help others who find themselves in our position xx' [sic]

Gillian, who was one of our founding committee members, took up a swimming challenge in the lead up to Cailie's 24th birthday, swimming 24 miles over 24 days finishing on her daughter's birthday on Friday 15th October 2021.

Throughout October 2022 Fay fundraised in memory of her baby Grace. Fay wrote 'I found Ayrshire Baby Loss Support after the loss of my daughter Grace. The support from the group has been invaluable to myself personally and feel proud to support them, to support other bereaved families, in anyway I can.' [sic]

Denise with some of her family walked 10 Monroe's during July & August 2022, for Joseph's 10th birthday on the 24th August 2022. Funds raised were split between us and The Fire Service Family Trust
